A big THANK YOU goes out to all Calgary River Users’ Alliance member organizations for their support of the Calgary River Access Strategy. Without this engagement by the local community it would have been difficult to see passage of the strategy through Community & Protective Services Committee and finally Calgary City Council Approval.
At both the committee and council sessions the River Access Strategy received unanimous approval. This speaks highly of the importance of river access not only to our community but also all Calgarians.
The List of Supporters was attached to the River Access Strategy documents and is part of the public record.
